EXPERIENCE

The Hot Voyage experience

What makes Hot Voyage different from a traditional Vancouver yacht charter or land-based sauna?

Hot Voyage combines a private boat charter, spacious cedar sauna, multiple lounge areas, and West Coast water adventure in one experience. From the moment your group boards the sauna boat, the sauna is already hot and ready, and you can begin enjoying the upper deck, lower deck, indoor lounge, fresh and saltwater showers, panoramic views, and six-speaker Bluetooth sound system while cruising. Once the boat is anchored, guests can swim, use the paddleboard and floaties, and jump into the water. Unlike a land-based sauna, the scenery moves with you—and unlike a typical yacht charter, the sauna and full onboard experience are available throughout the voyage.

Yes. Every Hot Voyage booking is a fully private charter reserved exclusively for your group, with no strangers joining your voyage. You can choose your music, bring your own food and drinks, relax across the different onboard spaces, and enjoy the experience at your own pace while a professional captain operates the vessel. It feels like having your own private floating retreat for the day.

Hot Voyage welcomes private groups of up to 12 guests. It is an exciting choice for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate outings, family celebrations, anniversaries, and unforgettable days with friends. Larger groups can enjoy a lively social atmosphere, while smaller groups receive the same private vessel, amenities, and personalized experience.

Hot Voyage offers several distinct spaces, allowing guests to spread out and enjoy the voyage their own way. The large cedar sauna accommodates up to 12 guests, while the lounge area outside the sauna includes a table and two benches for relaxing, socializing, and celebrating. The rooftop deck features comfortable sectional seating and panoramic views, while the lower deck keeps guests close to the showers, water, and main onboard amenities. Guests can move between the sauna, lounge areas, and decks throughout the voyage, creating a comfortable flow between heat, fresh air, scenery, music, and relaxation.

Choose the charter length based on how much time your group wants to spend cruising, relaxing, celebrating, and enjoying the water. The 2-hour charter is a lively introduction, with a scenic 20–25-minute cruise toward Carraholly Point in Burrard Inlet. The 3-hour charter is our most popular option, offering a more relaxed balance of cruising, sauna, swimming, and social time. Longer charters open up more distant destinations and create a deeper West Coast escape. Depending on tide, weather, dock access, and operating conditions, a short tender transfer may be used to reach the sauna boat and is included within the booked charter time.

Your route is matched to the length of your booking. The 2-hour charter travels through Burrard Inlet toward Carraholly Point, while the 3-hour charter typically heads toward Admiralty Point. Four- and five-hour charters may continue toward Jug Island and Twin Islands, and longer experiences can explore deeper into Indian Arm toward Silver Falls and Granite Falls. Routes, anchoring locations, and timing may be adjusted for tides, weather, marine traffic, and operating conditions. When needed, your experience may begin and end with a short scenic tender transfer between the meeting point and the sauna boat.

The experience begins the moment you step aboard the sauna boat. The cedar sauna is already hot and ready, and guests can immediately enjoy the upper and lower decks, lounge area, showers, music, and changing scenery while cruising. The 2-hour charter includes approximately 20–25 minutes of cruising each way toward Carraholly Point, while the 3-hour charter generally includes around 30 minutes of cruising each way. Swimming, paddleboarding, floaties, and jumping into the water are enjoyed while the boat is anchored. Depending on dock access and operating conditions, a tender transfer of approximately 15 minutes each way may be required and forms part of the booked experience. Exact timing can vary, but every stage—from the scenic transfer and cruise to the sauna and anchor time—is designed as part of the adventure.

02
ONBOARD

What's included onboard

What is included in the price of a private Hot Voyage charter?

Your charter includes exclusive use of the Hot Voyage sauna boat for your group, a professional captain, fuel, a spacious cedar sauna, indoor lounge, rooftop deck, private washroom and changing area, fresh and saltwater showers, drinking water, a six-speaker Bluetooth sound system, USB charging ports for cell phones, and required safety equipment. Your group can also use the paddleboard, floaties, and 360° camera during the charter at no additional charge. Everything is designed to make your private floating sauna experience easy, comfortable, and ready to enjoy from the moment you step onboard.

Yes. The cedar sauna is already hot and ready when your group boards, so there is no waiting for the experience to begin. While the boat is cruising, guests can use the sauna, relax in the indoor lounge, enjoy the upper and lower decks, use the showers, walk around the boat, take in the scenery, and play music through the onboard Bluetooth sound system. Swimming, paddleboarding, floaties, and jumping into the water begin once the sauna boat is anchored.

Hot Voyage features a large, spacious cedar sauna designed to accommodate groups of up to 12 guests. Panoramic windows keep you connected to the surrounding West Coast scenery while you relax in the heat. Whether your group enjoys one shared sauna session or moves between the sauna, lounges, decks, and water activities, the experience feels social, flexible, and completely your own.

Hot Voyage offers several spaces where guests can relax, socialize, and celebrate throughout the charter. Just outside the sauna is a comfortable lounge area with a table and two benches, ideal for enjoying your own food and drinks, chatting, or celebrating a birthday or special occasion. The rooftop deck features comfortable sectional seating and panoramic views, while the lower deck keeps guests close to the water, showers, and main onboard amenities. The different spaces allow your group to spread out naturally and enjoy the boat in different ways.

Yes. Hot Voyage has a full private washroom that also serves as a convenient changing area. Guests can change into swimsuits, use the washroom, freshen up, and change back into dry clothing before returning to shore. Having these facilities onboard makes the experience comfortable and convenient in summer, winter, rain, or cooler West Coast weather.

Yes. Guests have access to both freshwater and saltwater showers throughout the charter. Use the saltwater shower for a refreshing ocean-style cool-down or the freshwater shower to rinse off and freshen up. Fresh drinking water is also provided onboard, so your group can stay hydrated between sauna sessions and water activities.

Absolutely. Connect your phone to the Bluetooth sound system and enjoy your playlist through six speakers positioned around the boat. Whether your group wants a relaxing spa atmosphere or an energetic celebration, you control the soundtrack. USB charging ports are also available for cell phones, helping you stay connected and keep your camera ready throughout the charter.

Yes. A paddleboard, floaties, and a 360° camera are provided for your group to use during the charter at no additional charge. Once the boat is anchored, guests can enjoy the water toys and use the camera to capture swimming, jumps, celebrations, and unforgettable moments on the water. These items are available for use during your booked experience and remain onboard after the charter.

BOOKING

Booking, pricing & guest changes

How much does a private Hot Voyage sauna boat charter cost?

Private charters start at CA$1,200 for two hours, based on a rate of CA$600 per hour, for up to 12 guests. The price is for the private charter—not per person—so your group receives exclusive use of the sauna boat, professional captain, fuel, sauna, lounges, showers, washroom, sound system, water equipment, and other included amenities. With 12 guests, the two-hour experience works out to just CA$100 per person.

Smaller groups are always welcome. Whether you bring two guests or the full capacity of 12, the entire sauna boat is reserved exclusively for your group. The spacious cedar sauna can accommodate up to 12 guests, allowing everyone to enjoy a sauna session together, while the lounge areas and decks provide additional ways to relax, socialize, and enjoy the scenery throughout the charter. For comfort and vessel balance, the rooftop lounge is enjoyed by up to five guests at a time.

Choose your preferred charter length, select an available date and departure time through our online booking calendar, and complete the reservation securely online. Because every departure is reserved for one private group, popular summer dates, weekends, birthdays, and sunset times can book quickly. Reserving early gives you the best selection of dates and times.

Your reservation is confirmed once the required payment shown during checkout has been completed. Since the entire sauna boat and captain are set aside exclusively for your group, unpaid dates and departure times cannot be held. All pricing and required charges are displayed before you complete the booking.

Any applicable charges or damage-deposit requirements will be clearly disclosed before payment, so there are no unexpected booking costs. Guests are expected to treat the vessel and equipment responsibly, and the person making the reservation is responsible for damage caused by members of the group.

Yes. Every guest must complete a digital waiver before boarding. After booking, please provide the first name, last name, and email address of every guest. Each guest will receive their own waiver by email to complete electronically before the charter. Sending the guest list and completing the waivers early helps make check-in smooth so your group can begin enjoying Hot Voyage as soon as you arrive. Guests without a completed waiver cannot board.

Yes. You may update your guest list after booking, provided the total group does not exceed 12 guests. Please send us the first name, last name, and email address of each new or replacement guest as early as possible. We will email them the required digital waiver, which must be completed before boarding.

Yes. Every person onboard counts toward the maximum capacity of 12 guests, including photographers, videographers, event planners, content creators, and other service providers. Include them in your final guest count so your group remains within the vessel’s approved capacity.

04
WEATHER

Weather, cancellations & rescheduling

Is Hot Voyage enjoyable in summer, rain, and cooler weather?

Absolutely. Hot Voyage is designed as a year-round private sauna boat experience. Warm summer days are perfect for rooftop lounging, swimming, paddleboarding, floaties, showers, and water activities while anchored. In cooler or rainy weather, the hot cedar sauna, panoramic windows, indoor lounge, music, and misty West Coast scenery create an especially cozy and memorable atmosphere. Every season offers a different way to experience Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm.

Absolutely. Hot Voyage operates in the rain, and many guests find that it makes the experience even more memorable. The contrast between the powerful heat of the cedar sauna, cool rain, misty water, and dramatic West Coast scenery creates an atmosphere you simply cannot recreate on land. Your group can relax in the indoor lounge, enjoy the sauna through panoramic windows, listen to music, use the decks and showers, and still swim and enjoy water activities while anchored. Rain does not take away from Hot Voyage—it transforms the day into a cozy, exciting West Coast adventure.

Each charter date and departure time is reserved exclusively for one private group, often weeks or months in advance. If you cancel more than 10 days before your scheduled departure, you will receive a 70% refund, with 30% retained to cover the time that was held for your group. Cancellations made within 10 days of departure are non-refundable, as there may not be enough time to rebook the reserved charter slot.

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If you have a substantial reason that prevents your group from attending, contact Hot Voyage as soon as possible and explain the situation. Although rescheduling cannot be guaranteed, we will always make a reasonable effort to find another available date or time when circumstances and availability allow.

Hot Voyage operates mainly in sheltered waters, so weather-related cancellations are extremely rare. A charter would only be cancelled in the unusual event that actual marine conditions make safe operation impossible. If Hot Voyage cancels for safety reasons, your group can choose a full refund or reschedule to another available date. The captain makes the final decision based on the conditions affecting the vessel, not simply the presence of rain in the forecast.

The captain makes the final safety decision using current and forecast marine conditions, including wind, visibility, waves, tides, and marine traffic. Because Hot Voyage operates in sheltered waters and is designed as a year-round experience, most weather—including typical West Coast rain—does not interfere with the charter. Safety decisions are based on safe vessel operation, while every reasonable effort is made to keep your experience running as planned.

Yes. The captain may adjust the route, cruising speed, anchoring location, or time spent in different areas to create the safest and most enjoyable experience possible. Your booked charter duration remains the same, and the sauna, lounge areas, decks, showers, music, and other onboard amenities remain available throughout the time you are aboard the sauna boat.

05
BOARDING

Meeting point, boarding & charter time

Where is the usual pickup location for a Hot Voyage charter?

Our standard pickup location is a dock in Port Moody, conveniently positioned for cruising into Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm. After booking, the organizer will receive the exact meeting point, directions, and arrival instructions to share with the group.

The booking organizer will receive the confirmed dock location and clear directions after the reservation is completed. We recommend forwarding these details to every guest and having the group arrive together at least 15 minutes before departure.

Yes. Custom pickup locations may be possible from private docks or other suitable waterfront locations. Please contact Hot Voyage before booking so we can confirm that the location is accessible, safe, legally permitted, and practical for your selected charter. Custom pickups must be arranged in advance and may affect the route, timing, or price.

Your group will meet our crew at the confirmed pickup point, where we will guide you through a smooth boarding process. Depending on the dock, tide, weather, and operating conditions, you may board Hot Voyage directly or begin with a short scenic tender transfer to the sauna boat. When needed, the tender ride takes approximately 15 minutes each way and is included within your booked charter time. Once onboard, the cedar sauna is already hot and ready, so you can immediately enjoy the decks, lounge, showers, music, and waterfront scenery as your private sauna boat experience begins.

Your private charter begins at the scheduled departure time. The reserved window includes boarding, tender transfers when needed, scenic cruising, anchoring, sauna use, water activities, and the return to the pickup point.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. This allows time for the group to gather, complete the final boarding steps, and begin the charter smoothly without reducing your time on the water.

The charter must operate within its reserved time slot, so a late arrival reduces the time remaining for the experience and cannot extend the scheduled return. Having everyone arrive together 15 minutes early helps your group enjoy the full charter.

Hot Voyage is a continuous private charter, and individual early-return trips are not normally available after departure. Guests should plan to remain with the group until the scheduled return to the confirmed pickup point.

06
ABOARD

Food, alcohol & music

Can we bring our own food and snacks onboard?

Yes. Guests are welcome to bring their favourite food, snacks, and celebration cake aboard their private Hot Voyage charter. The lounge area includes a table and two benches where guests can eat, socialize, and celebrate between sauna sessions. Food that is simple to serve and enjoy onboard works best.

Yes. Please bring any plates, cups, cutlery, napkins, and serving items your group may need. Guests are responsible for tidying their food and beverage items and taking their garbage with them after the charter.

Yes. Guests may bring their own non-alcoholic drinks, and guests aged 19 or older may bring alcohol for personal consumption. Hot Voyage does not purchase, provide, sell, supply, serve, pour or mix alcohol. Alcohol must remain in the guest’s possession and be self-served.

Each guest is solely responsible for what they bring, the amount they consume, complying with the law and all resulting consequences, including impaired judgment, illness, injury, drowning, death, property damage or harm to others.

Alcohol does not excuse compliance with safety rules or crew directions. The captain may stop alcohol consumption, secure alcohol, restrict sauna or water activities, require a PFD, terminate a guest’s participation or end the charter if conduct or impairment creates a safety concern. Termination for alcohol-related or unsafe conduct will not result in a refund.

Absolutely. Connect your phone to our Bluetooth sound system and enjoy your playlist through six speakers positioned throughout the sauna boat. Whether you want relaxing spa music or an energetic birthday, bachelor, or bachelorette soundtrack, your group controls the atmosphere. USB charging ports are also available for cell phones.

07
SAFETY

Vessel safety & captain authority

Is Hot Voyage a safe, professionally operated, and insured commercial vessel?

Yes. Hot Voyage is an insured commercial passenger vessel operated by qualified captains who hold the licences and certifications required for the vessel and operating area. We operate in accordance with applicable Transport Canada requirements, allowing your group to relax and enjoy the sauna boat experience while the navigation, marine conditions, and onboard safety are professionally managed.

Hot Voyage carries the safety and emergency equipment required for its commercial operation, including approved lifejackets for everyone onboard, first-aid supplies, emergency communication equipment, and other required lifesaving and vessel-safety equipment. Canadian small commercial vessels must carry approved flotation equipment for everyone onboard.

Yes. Before the charter begins, the captain or crew provides a clear safety briefing covering important onboard rules, emergency procedures, lifejacket locations, safe movement around the vessel, and participation in water activities. Transport Canada requires small commercial-vessel operators to provide passengers with a safety briefing before departure.

The captain operates and navigates the vessel, monitors weather and marine traffic, chooses safe routes and anchoring locations, and oversees boarding, cruising, water activities, and the return journey. Canadian law requires the master of a vessel to take reasonable steps to protect the vessel and everyone onboard, so the captain’s safety decisions always take priority.

Yes. Guests must follow all safety directions given by the captain or crew. Most instructions are simple and designed to keep the experience comfortable, exciting, and enjoyable for everyone. If conditions change, the captain may adjust the route, pause an activity, restrict access to an area, or require guests to return onboard. Passengers are legally required to comply with directions given to carry out applicable marine-safety requirements.

No. Only the captain or authorized crew may operate the vessel, navigation controls, anchor system, or propane sauna system. Guests are free to enjoy the hot cedar sauna, showers, lounge spaces, decks, music, paddleboard, floaties, and other included amenities, while all operational equipment remains professionally managed.

The captain has final authority to protect everyone onboard. If a guest’s actions, intoxication, aggression, tampering, or repeated refusal to follow instructions creates a safety risk, the captain may stop the activity, restrict alcohol or water access, return to shore, and end the charter without a refund. Guests may also be held responsible for damage they cause to the vessel or equipment. Federal law prohibits tampering with vessel equipment and any action that could jeopardize the vessel or people onboard.

No. Smoking, vaping, cannabis, and illegal substances are not permitted anywhere onboard. Pets are also not allowed. These rules help protect the vessel, sauna, guests, and crew while keeping the experience clean, comfortable, and enjoyable for the entire group.

08
COME PREPARED

What to bring & clothing

What should we bring for our Hot Voyage charter?

Bring a swimsuit, towel, water bottle, robe, and dry clothes for after the charter. A second towel is useful if you plan to swim or shower more than once. You may also bring your favourite drinks and snacks. Pack light so it is easy to move between the sauna, lounge areas, decks, showers, and water activities.

A swimsuit and robe are all you need while enjoying the sauna experience. The cedar sauna is hot and ready when you board, and a robe keeps you comfortable while moving between the sauna, lounge areas, decks, and showers. In summer, sunglasses and a hat may also be useful while relaxing on the rooftop deck.

Yes. Each guest should bring at least one towel and a robe. A second towel is recommended if you plan to swim, use the showers, or return to the sauna several times. The robe is ideal for moving comfortably between the hot sauna, fresh air, lounge areas, and water.

Outdoor shoes are not permitted anywhere on the sauna boat. Guests will remove them before boarding and place them in the storage bin provided. You may go barefoot or bring clean, non-marking indoor-only flip-flops with smooth soles. Footwear that has been worn outdoors, has rough tread, or carries dirt is not allowed, and no footwear is permitted inside the sauna.

Hot Voyage has indoor space for compact bags, dry clothing, and personal items. A small bag with your towel, robe, change of clothes, and essentials is usually enough. Please avoid large luggage and bring only what you need for the charter.

Bring only the valuables you need, as guests remain responsible for their phones, jewellery, wallets, cameras, and other personal belongings. USB charging access is available for cell phones, and a 360° camera is provided for your group to use during the charter, so extra camera equipment is optional.

09
ACCESS

Age, health & accessibility

Is Hot Voyage mainly an adult sauna boat experience?

Hot Voyage is primarily designed for adult private charters, including birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate outings, anniversaries, and celebrations with friends. Families with teenagers are also welcome when the age, guardian, and waiver requirements below are met.

The minimum age is 14 years old. Guests aged 19 and older may participate independently, while every guest between 14 and 18 must attend with their own parent or legal guardian onboard for the entire charter.

Each guest between 14 and 18 must be accompanied by their own parent or legal guardian, who will supervise them throughout the charter and sign the required liability waiver on their behalf. The booking organizer must provide the first name, last name, and email address of every guest and identify all guests under 19 together with the name of each accompanying parent or legal guardian. This information should be provided when booking or as soon as the final guest list is confirmed. Unaccompanied guests under 19 cannot board. Transport Canada also advises groups travelling with younger passengers to tell the vessel operator their number and ages in advance.

Pregnant guests and anyone with heart or blood-pressure concerns, respiratory or circulation conditions, fainting or seizure disorders, recent surgery, heat sensitivity, or another underlying condition that may be affected by sauna heat, cold water, or physical activity are strongly advised not to participate in those activities unless cleared by a qualified healthcare professional. Guests are responsible for assessing their own health, obtaining medical advice, following any restrictions, and deciding whether participation is appropriate. HealthLink BC recommends that pregnant people speak with their doctor or midwife about activities that raise core body temperature, including saunas. Heat-related illness can also be worsened by dehydration. Participation is at each guest’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hot Voyage does not accept responsibility for illness, injury, or complications arising from pregnancy, medication, a pre-existing or undisclosed medical condition, or a guest’s decision to participate contrary to medical advice. The captain may restrict or stop any activity if a guest appears unwell or continuing could create a safety concern.

Absolutely. Sauna use, swimming, jumping, paddleboarding, and cold-water activities are always optional. Guests can still enjoy the indoor lounge, rooftop and lower decks, panoramic scenery, music, fresh air, food and drinks, and time with their group. Everyone can enjoy the private sauna boat charter at their own comfort level.

No. The Hot Voyage sauna boat is not wheelchair accessible and cannot safely accommodate a wheelchair onboard. Boarding and movement through the vessel involve marine docks, changes in water level, steps, and spaces that are not designed for wheelchair access.

Hot Voyage is generally not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Boarding may involve stepping between a dock, tender, and sauna boat, and guests must be able to navigate marine walkways, steps, changing surfaces, and the vessel without mobility assistance. The boarding method can vary with tides, dock access, and operating conditions.

Guests must be able to board and move around the vessel safely, maintain their balance on a moving boat, and follow crew instructions promptly. Anyone entering the ocean must also be a confident swimmer in deep water and physically able to use the boat’s reboarding access. Guests who do not wish to swim can cool down with the freshwater or saltwater shower instead.

Active older adults who are comfortable boarding a marine vessel, using steps, and managing sauna heat may enjoy Hot Voyage. Suitability depends on health and mobility rather than age alone. Anyone with medical or mobility concerns should consult a healthcare professional and carefully review the boarding and physical requirements before booking.

The guest should leave the sauna or stop the activity immediately, move to a cooler area, drink water, and notify the captain or crew. Guests should never push through dizziness, weakness, nausea, confusion, unusual shortness of breath, or feeling faint. The captain may stop sauna use, water activities, or the charter itself when necessary to protect the guest and everyone onboard. HealthLink BC notes that heat-related illness can cause weakness, disorientation, and exhaustion and can become a medical emergency in severe cases.

CELEBRATIONS

Birthdays, parties & special events

Is Hot Voyage a good choice for birthdays and private celebrations in Vancouver?

Absolutely. Hot Voyage turns a birthday or special event into a private West Coast adventure your group can experience together. Your charter combines a spacious cedar sauna, scenic cruising, an indoor lounge with a table and two benches, rooftop sectional seating, music through six speakers, showers, swimming, paddleboarding, floaties, and unforgettable moments on the water. With the entire sauna boat reserved exclusively for your group, you can celebrate without sharing the experience with strangers.

The 3-hour Birthday Charter follows our popular private-charter experience and includes a Happy Birthday sign, birthday sash, and captain-style birthday hat for photos and celebrations. Your group also receives private use of the sauna boat, professional captain, fuel, hot cedar sauna, lounge and deck areas, washroom and changing space, fresh and saltwater showers, Bluetooth music, and onboard amenities. A paddleboard, floaties, and 360° camera are available for your group to use during the charter at no additional charge and remain onboard afterward.

Yes. Hot Voyage is one of Vancouver’s most unique bachelor and bachelorette party experiences, combining a private boat charter, cedar sauna, music, water activities, scenery, and multiple places to relax and celebrate. Your group can bring its own food and drinks, choose the playlist, enjoy the sauna while cruising, and swim, paddleboard, use the floaties, and jump into the water once the boat is anchored.

The Bachelorette Charter includes the same private 3-hour sauna boat experience, plus a captain-style hat for the bride-to-be and a pink flamingo floatie available onboard for photos and use during the charter. The flamingo floatie remains with the vessel after the experience.

The Bachelor Charter follows the same popular 3-hour itinerary and includes a captain-style hat for the groom-to-be. Your group can sauna, cruise, play its own music, enjoy the lounge and decks, and take part in water activities while anchored.

Yes. You are welcome to bring a cake and simple celebration supplies that are easy to carry, secure, and remove after the charter. Please contact Hot Voyage in advance about larger decorations or special setups so we can confirm what will work safely onboard. Decorations must not block walkways, interfere with vessel equipment, damage surfaces, or create litter on the water.

Advance decorating time is not automatically included because the crew may be preparing the vessel or completing another charter. Contact Hot Voyage before booking or as early as possible afterward if you would like a special setup. We will let you know what can be accommodated based on the schedule and boarding arrangements.

Regular birthday-cake candles are allowed, but guests must let Hot Voyage know in advance and the candles may only be lit while directly supervised by a crew member. Cake sparklers, fountain candles, and any decoration that produces sparks are not permitted because they create a serious fire and burn risk. Confetti, glitter, and other loose decorations that could blow into the water are also not allowed. All decorations must be secure, easy to remove, and must not block walkways or interfere with vessel equipment.

Yes. Bring your favourite food, snacks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, and the playlist that fits your celebration. Guests aged 19 and older may responsibly consume their own alcohol in accordance with applicable laws and Hot Voyage’s safety rules. Connect your phone to the Bluetooth sound system and enjoy your music through six speakers positioned throughout the boat.

Yes. A 360° camera is available for your group to use during the charter at no additional charge. It is perfect for capturing celebrations, scenic moments, swimming, and jumps into the water. The camera is provided for onboard use during the booked charter and must remain with the vessel afterward.

Yes. Hot Voyage offers a memorable alternative to a traditional restaurant, meeting room, or standard Vancouver boat charter. The private sauna boat is ideal for team building, employee appreciation, client entertainment, company celebrations, and wellness-focused outings. The Corporate Charter follows the popular 3-hour experience and includes chilled sparkling water.

Absolutely. A private Hot Voyage charter creates a memorable setting for anniversaries, proposals, date experiences, and romantic surprises. The scenic surroundings, cedar sauna, rooftop seating, indoor lounge, music, and complete privacy allow you to create a relaxed and personal experience on the water.

Yes. Hot Voyage is a highly visual setting for photography, video, brand content, social media, proposals, and special-event coverage. Photographers, videographers, and content creators count toward the maximum capacity of 12 people. Contact us before booking if you are bringing professional equipment or planning a larger production so we can confirm the setup and timing.

We will make a reasonable effort to help with special requests when they are arranged in advance. Contact Hot Voyage before booking or as early as possible with your idea so we can confirm what is practical, safe, and available. Custom arrangements may involve additional preparation or cost.

Additional time may be available when arranged in advance and when the vessel schedule allows. Because private charter times can book well ahead—especially on weekends—it is best to choose the full duration you want when reserving. Same-day extensions cannot be guaranteed.

11
VOYAGES

Routes, wildlife & custom voyages

Where does a Hot Voyage sauna boat charter take you?

Hot Voyage cruises through the sheltered waters of Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm, where forested shorelines, mountain views, peaceful coves, islands, waterfalls, and wildlife create a true West Coast escape close to Vancouver. Each private charter combines scenic cruising with a hot cedar sauna, comfortable lounge spaces, rooftop views, music, showers, and time to relax together away from crowded city venues.

The best route depends on how much time you want for scenic exploration, sauna sessions, socializing, and relaxing at anchor. A 2-hour charter is ideal for a memorable introduction to the experience, the 3-hour charter is our most popular choice for celebrations and first-time guests, and longer Indian Arm voyages are perfect for groups who want waterfalls, remote scenery, and a deeper full-day adventure.

The 2-hour private sauna boat charter travels toward Carraholly Point in Burrard Inlet, one of the closest scenic destinations with a beautiful sheltered lagoon where the boat can anchor. It gives your group the complete Hot Voyage atmosphere—cedar sauna, mountain and ocean views, music, decks, lounge areas, showers, and time to cool off in the water—without requiring a longer half-day booking.

The 3-hour charter gives most groups the ideal balance of cruising, sauna time, celebration, and relaxation. The typical route travels toward the Admiralty Point area, giving your group more time to settle into the experience, enjoy multiple sauna sessions, take photos, relax on the decks, and use the water amenities while anchored, which makes it especially popular for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, couples, and corporate outings.

Longer private charters travel progressively farther into the spectacular waters of Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm: the 4-hour voyage visits Jug Island, the 5-hour voyage reaches Twin Islands, the 6-hour voyage travels toward Silver Falls, the 7-hour voyage explores Croker Island, and the 8-hour voyage reaches Granite Falls. Each additional hour opens the door to more remote scenery, more time together on the water, and a deeper sense of adventure.

The 6-, 7-, and 8-hour Indian Arm charters offer the most immersive wilderness experience, with steep mountains, dense forests, remote islands, quiet stretches of water, and dramatic waterfall destinations. Silver Falls, Croker Island, and Granite Falls are excellent choices for groups who want the journey itself to feel like a major part of the celebration rather than simply transportation to an anchorage.

Yes. Waterfall voyages are available on longer Indian Arm charters, including Silver Falls on the 6-hour experience and Granite Falls on the 8-hour adventure. Water flow changes with rainfall, snowmelt, and the season, but the surrounding mountains and remote coastal scenery make these routes impressive throughout the year.

Most Hot Voyage charters include time at anchor in a scenic and sheltered location chosen for the route and current marine conditions. Anchoring gives your group more time to enjoy the cedar sauna, lounge areas, rooftop deck, food, drinks, music, scenery, and showers, while swimming, jumping, paddleboarding, and floaties are available only when the vessel is anchored.

Custom route requests may be possible because every Hot Voyage charter is private for your group. Contact us before booking with the destination, scenery, activity, or type of experience you have in mind, and we will assess what can be comfortably achieved within your selected charter time based on distance, tides, weather, anchorage access, fuel requirements, and marine conditions.

Yes. Hot Voyage can help shape the charter around birthdays, proposals, anniversaries, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate outings, wellness experiences, reunions, and content-creation days. Share your plans as early as possible, and we may be able to coordinate a preferred route, scenic anchorage, sunset timing, celebration moment, decorations, or another personalized detail that makes the day feel uniquely yours.

Yes. Sunset charters are among the most visually memorable Hot Voyage experiences, combining the warmth of the cedar sauna with golden-hour light, mountain silhouettes, and reflections across Burrard Inlet or Indian Arm. Sunset times vary throughout the year, so booking early gives you the best chance of securing the date and departure window that matches your vision.

Possible wildlife sightings include harbour seals, bald eagles, herons, seabirds, and other coastal animals found around Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm. Guests may also occasionally see orcas travelling through the area, especially during longer voyages into quieter waters, adding an unforgettable natural moment to an already unique Vancouver sauna boat experience.

No. Wildlife moves freely and appears on its own schedule, so orca, seal, eagle, and other animal sightings cannot be guaranteed. Hot Voyage is a private sauna boat charter rather than a dedicated whale-watching tour, which means any wildlife encounter is an exciting bonus to the cedar sauna, scenic cruising, private vessel, water activities, and time together with your group.

Yes. The 5-hour Raccoon Island Crabbing Voyage combines a private sauna boat charter with a hands-on West Coast crabbing experience. Two crab traps and bait are included, your group receives guidance on where and how the traps are deployed, and while they are in the water you can enjoy the sauna, scenery, lounge areas, and time at anchor before retrieving them later in the voyage; catches depend on local conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
